Local Weekend 4x4 Safaris: Land of the Legends Corporate Teambuild Experience a teambuilding adventure in Africa that is completely different from the norm. We offer a self drive safari with a difference. This unique team build includes:
Pamper body and soul with a brief six day escape from the insanity of the working environment and join us in exploring the magnificent Northern Province of South Africa and the world renowned Kruger National Park, which offers a wildlife experience that ranks amongst the best in both Africa and the world. Kruger Park is mainly a self drive destination with the infrastructure of roads, waterholes, hides, picnic sites and rest camps, spread throughout the park to ensure the visitor maximum exposure to the fauna and flora on offer in this remarkable reserve. Day 1 The group will be met at their overnight accommodation and transported by bus to a privately owned Game Ranch in the Northern Province approximately 242 km from Johannesburg. We begin by getting settled in at a tented bush camp deep in the African bush amongst an abundance of game. After settling we then deal with the strategy of survival, survival equipment and survival skills. At the close of day we sit around a fire in the bush discussing the beginning of a wonderful adventure under billions of bright stars in the African sky. Day 2 After a hearty breakfast in the bush, the day begins with discussions on transformational leadership, controlling a vehicle convoy when on safari, 4X4 driving techniques and then go on a short game drive. The tour guide will explain and discuss the following day’s adventure. Day 3 After breakfast we depart for Camp Africa, a forest retreat at Machado (Louis Trichardt) Day 4
Day 5 We enter the Kruger Park and head south through the park to Letaba Camp, with its beautiful lawns and colossal shade trees. The area is well known for its large apple-leaf, umbrella thorn and mopane trees. Game viewing from the sanctity of the camp itself is excellent. On this leg of the adventure, you will have an opportunity to view almost all the wildlife including the Big 5, an unforgettable experience. As we sit around the fire at night we cannot miss being able to see the brilliant Southern Cross amongst the billions of bright stars. Sadly the Southern Cross beckons us to head further south and thus concludes this wonderful safari experience. Day 6 After breakfast and breaking up camp, we then take on the last 80 kilometers from Letaba to the Phalaborwa gate, leaving the park behind us. We are sure to see hundreds of animals on this route and it would appear as if they have all come to bid us farewell, and also remind us of an unforgettable experience in the Kruger Park. We travel through a beautiful mountainous area and thus leave the lowveld behind us as we cross the Elephants River and pass through the Strydom Tunnel en route to the Highveld. We will stop for a picnic lunch near the historical little town of Dullstroom, after which we continue our journey back to Johannesburg, with our minds trying to recapture these wonderful six days that have just passed. Sadly we have to take leave of each other and say our goodbyes in Johannesburg until the next time. Trip Details Total trip distance from Johannesburg and back—1645 kilometers
