Tiger fishing is an experience not to be missed, the menacing ferocity and cunning of this magnificent fresh water fish will test even the most experienced fisherman. The Tiger fish has needle sharp teeth and is a highly experienced escape artist, which makes the use of traces a necessity and landing a scale bending Tiger fish, is an accomplishment that all serious fishermen should have under the belt.
With this in mind we have put together the perfectly packaged safari which places you in the center of the Africa's Tiger fish "hot spots", whilst at the same time allowing you to relax in the serenity of the African bushveld surrounded by an abundance of wildlife.
The Tiger fish safari includes the following venues:
- Chobe National Park (Botswana)
- Victoria Falls (Zambia)
- Kabula Tiger Lodge (Western Zambia)
- 22 September 2007 – 30 September 2007 (SCHOOL HOLIDAYS)
| Day 1 |
A fully qualified safari guide will meet you at the Groblersbrug border post between South Africa and Botswana. "KwaNokeng" an overnight lodge and campsite, located at the border (Botswana Side) will be the ideal lodging for the previous night and can be contacted by e-mail: clinton@botsnet.bw or telephonically on (09267) 491 5927. Visit their website at www.knl.co.za.
We will leave for Kasane, approximately 800km from the border and spend the night at Chobe Safari Lodge, which is located on the lush banks of the Chobe River, and boasts a beautiful campsite and ablutions, hot water showers, a swimming pool and a charismatic thatched pub overlooking the Chobe River. |

Today will be spent in the Chobe National Park. The Chobe National Park is proudly famous for it's abundance of elephants, the highest concentration to be found anywhere in Africa.
The Chobe National Park is also famous for it's huge herds of buffalo, rich bird life and exquisite sunset boat cruises, this is definitely a wildlife experience not to be missed, once again the night will be spent in our camp at the Chobe Safari Lodge. |
